Today, nothing went as planned. I wanted to finished all the biographies of Otomo-san, Hina, all the staff of Little Angels, and Momoko’s family, but I only finished Otomo-san’s and Hina’s. Sorry! I know I should finish their bios, but I think it’s time to work on the information to my other J-drama fanlisting. This might be a good thing (not finishing) because there’s not much information about Momoko’s other co-workers and the Hasegawa family. I might be able to gather more information when new episodes come out. Although I stopped working on the information, I’ll still be here making more code buttons, so don’t worry.

PS: Hina’s biography might sound a little weird. I had minor writing block writing it. In two days, I will go back and rewrite it. Sorry for that…

For How to Save a Life, I finished the plot line section, which provides basic information about the show, and started the Characters section. I only finished the Momoko Hasegawa biography, but tomorrow, I plan to finish the rest of the recurring cast. Sadly, the guest character section will not be completed until much later because I need to start working on the other fanlistings’ information.

I have finished writing the theme song information for the mop girl fanlisting. Right now, I also have finished some notes that could help me write character information. This week, I hope I will be able to finish character information and plotline. Please look forward to those sections this week.

Yes and double yes! I spent about two hours making code buttons. There’s 12 new code buttons: 1 donated by a member and 11 done by me. Yaaay! PREVIEW TIME :

After three days of frustration and irritation, I have finally coded and uploaded EG.net’s new PHP guestbook. Gosh, it was frustrating! First, I had to figure out how to edit it. Second, I had to do it several times cuz I would delete something important in the coding and mess up the whole system. That was annoying beyond all reasons. On top of that, I had to upload the css style sheet every time I wanted to edit the colors because it wouldn’t change otherwise. *sigh* I spent 13 hrs on this guestbook - I’m not joking! - 13 hrs! Glad all that editing is over and done with.

This version of the guestbook features the five year old version of Arnold and Helga from Nickelodeon’s Hey Arnold. I had this weird urged to watch the animated episodes and fell instantly in love with Helga and her unrequited love for the titled character, Arnold. According to Helga on the Couch, Helga’s crush on Arnold started on a terrible, rainy day in Kindergarten. She was always ignored by her family, but this football-headed little boy recognized her, and even more, complimented her on her bow: “I like your bow ’cause it’s pink like your pants”. Unfortunately, since Helga is shy, she keeps her feelings a secret by focusing most of her bullying on Arnold and making sure everyone thinks she hates him. Welcome the new fanlisting, Switch! It’s a fanlisting to the father-daughter-switching drama series, Papa to Musume no Nanokakan, or in English, Daddy and Daughter’s Seven days. When I was lonely during the first semester of university, I watched this show and felt so much happier. Maybe it’s because I love happy-loving high school dramas or maybe because the show is just fun, hillarious, and heart-warming. (Also, Shigeaki Kato from NEWS isn’t bad to look at either) If you’re a fan of this show like I am, please don’t hesitate to (enter and) join the fanlisting.
Btw, code buttons and information on the series is under construction. Once I get my personal life more situated, I’ll start working more on the site (content wise).

Well, after receiving my well-waited paycheck, I bought my own copy of Adobe Photoshop Express 6. (Yay!) With this program, I re-edited the layouts that were created by the image editing software demos and re-coded the css. Now the layouts look better in image quality and the coding colors match the layout’s images better. Yay! By the way, the two main layouts that were changed were the network’s and mop girl’s layouts.

The two main goals this week is to finish the new fanlisting to Papa and Daughter’s Seven Days and to revise the website information located in EG.net’s Network section. Please be patient for those goals to be completed.

I have uploaded and opened a new site. It’s a Mop Girl Drama series fanlisting. I love this drama. After I watched the first episode, I became a mop girl addict. Sadly, my Japanese isn’t as a good as I would like, so I have to wait for fansubs in order to comprehend this show. Unfortunately, the group that is fansubbing this series has only subbed the first five episodes, so I have to wait for the next seven… (Work hard, Timelessubs!)

This layout was another brain-pictured layout. Sadly, because the two programs I am using are demos, I cannot edit the images to create the exact layout my brain pictured. I’m really starting to miss Photoshop Express. In about a week or two, I will get my paycheck from my full-time job. The first purchase I will make will DEFINITELY be Photoshop Express.

Content and code buttons are non-existent in this opening of this site due to the limited of time before the deadline given by TFL.org. I have to finish two fanlistings in the next week and a half, and I need to work on the last one before I get the warning email from TFL. org. Once the last fanlisting is uploaded and opened, I will definitely start working on the new fanlistings’ content. Please be patient.

Yes, finally, EG Network has a new layout. Since my hard drive was destroyed and I lost my Photoshop Express software, I have used two back-up image programs to create this layout. These programs I used for this layout are not satisfactory, so once I buy a new version of Photoshop, the layout will be re-edited and the coding will be redone. Sorry for such a low quality layout this time around!
If you read the introduction page, you will see that this network is in its revamp period. That means that I’m trying to expanding the network’s content. Here are the plans for the site:

• Create a domain section for this site.  (The network had one, but it was deleted)
• Rewrite Website information for all websites. (The only information I like is Tama no Koshi’s info)
• Make a real exit section that has its own layout

That’s pretty much it for the network. I would also like to expand the content on my sites and make them much bigger. I’m always in awe in websites that have an overload of informative content. Over the years, I have noticed that I hate writing content. I would like to change that and have websites with that much “awe” impact.

This is my ultimate goal!
